Nicolas Ferron Trio

Multiverse is the debut album of the trio led by Nicolas Ferron. Nicolas, a versatile guitarist, has contributed to various projects in Montreal's Jazz and indie scenes, such as Les Passagers, Remi-Jean Leblanc Heyday, and Benjamin Deschamps Augmented Reality. For this new venture, he teamed up with Jonathan Cayer on the B3 organ and Louis-Vincent Hamel on drums. Together, they create a music full of contrasts, where ethereal atmospheres seamlessly transition into energetic and exhilarating grooves. Deeply rooted in jazz, Multiverse is also influenced by film music and the psychedelic rock of the late 1960s.

The trio explores with contagious pleasure the possibilities of this atypic instrumentation and does not hesitate to plunge into the wildest improvisations. Multiverse was produced and mixed by Tonio Morin-Vargas (Lumiére, Bon Enfant), whose expertise helped push the trio's artistic vision even further.
