Capitol Blue — JS Williams’ Album Pre-Launch

January 29, 2027

JS Williams presents a preview of Capitol Blue, his new album of original compositions. A remarkable guitarist, he creates intimate, cinematic music led by his voice and guitar. Acoustic and electric sounds meet folk and jazz influences in a musical world distinctly his own, exploring the space between doubt and intuition.

For the occasion, he is joined by an exceptional lineup of Montreal musicians: Mishka Stein on bass, Erik Hove on saxophone, Daniel Thouin on synthesizers, Philippe Lussier-Baillargeon on drums, Ariane Vaillancourt on vocals, and Robbie Kuster on nail organ, musical saw, and kalimba. With special guest Elisapie.

Rich arrangements and moments of improvisation bring the music to life on stage, enhanced by Julie Basse’s lighting and Philippe Léonard’s video art.

Unless otherwise specified by the producer, the show will be presented to a standing audience.
