Wassim est un auteur-compositeur-interprète québécois d’origine libanaise. C’est au tournant d’un deuil périnatal qu’il se lance en musique avec Portrait (automne 2023). Depuis, il travaille sur un nouveau projet, Moitié-moitié, dont la sortie est prévue à l’automne 2026. Dans une pop orientale inspirée de la chanson à texte, il aborde principalement les thèmes de la dualité identitaire. Accompagné par un pianiste et un guitariste, Wassim propose une formule intime qui passe du récit à la chanson, du rire aux larmes, afin de réfléchir avec son public à cette question complexe (et pourtant si simple) qu’est l’identité.
