Based in Amsterdam, Holland, King Shiloh Sound System, is an international, independently operating, roots reggae & dub sound system, founded and inspired through the inspiration of Jah Rastafari in 1991. The state of the art 40kw 6-way stereo sound system is at the heart of all activities, spin-offs include the King Shiloh Majestic Music record label.
King Shiloh are known as the traveling sound, they have covered more distance in the last 20 years with their sound system than any other in Europe. Ground-breakers outside of the UK and responsible for inspiring a whole new generation of sound systems across the continent. They were the first non UK sound to play on the island with their own sound system, becoming regulars at the famous University of Dub in London.
Aside from playing in Europe with their sound, Shiloh also travels further in a ‘dj style’, having played in Thailand, Jamaica, USA, Israel, Russia, Ukraine and Greece, to name a few .
Bredda Neil is the operator of the sound & musical selector, and Ras Lion is the original MC (master of ceremonies).
Selectress Natty Reuben originates from the Canadian Prairies and has been living in Montreal for more than 20 years. She started mixing vinyl to share her favorite sounds and record collection with the Montreal Reggae community in 2012. She has since participated in many events across Quebec as well as Kingston, JA. Fascinated by Reggae history and culture, she has a thing for vintage sounds of the 70s and 80s, mainly classic Roots, Rocksteady, Digi Dancehall and Dub... Strictly analog with heavy bass, her sounds can be heard at your local Sound System session! Roots Natty Roots!
Activists and music lovers for nearly 15 years, the members of WorldWild Sound System worked tirelessly to build a "homemade" Soundsystem with the aim of spreading conscious and spiritual music from all around the world. Our mission is to make people dance in spreading humanistic values and a powerful message of peace and unity. Reggae and Dub music from the 60's to nowadays is our vector and collecting original vinyl, merging, mixing, re-mixing and finally traveling is our way of life!
