They Delivered The Cure!

Mindfuzz strikes again! While the iron is hot, primed and ready. They came back and showed that stage pageantry doesn't have to die, it can coexist with making music and you can do it in post-apocalyptic mad-scientist gear. Their new getup combined with their sound plays heavily on my heartstrings in that they remind me very much of late Carnivore or even Fallout, minus the Peterisms. They delivered a great set, garnering explosive energy from the crowd. They're a fast-growing favorite of the Plateau scene it seems. Rock on dudes!

Purple Dog

Purple Dog is a garage rock band formed in Montreal in 2019. Propelled by their single She's Loco, their self-titled debut album was released in September 2022. Since then, Purple Dog has played shows in Montreal, Quebec and Trois-Rivières, during which their infectious live energy was praised.

Bastard but faithful like a purple dog, the band draws its cohesion from the great diversity of its members' infliuences. Somewhere between Husker Du, Led Zeppelin, grunge and The Cure, Purple Dog escapes the rigid cage of genres.

Purple Dog is Papa Dog (vocals, guitar, lyrics), Spike (bass), Andy Woof (guitar) and Steve Cabot (drums).
