Under the direction of Tiphaine Legrand and accompanied by pianist Anthony Lampron, the OCC choristers are pleased to present John Rutter's Magnificat on April 30, 2023 at 7:30 pm.

The centrepiece of this concert, John Rutter's Magnificat, speaks to contemporary sensibilities. It is a jubilant and eclectic work that draws its inspiration from various musical genres, such as Gregorian chant and jazz, while evoking the sun of Spain and South America.

In addition to the Magnificat, we will present three pieces by John Tavener that will bring a mystical and soothing touch to the concert.

- Mother of God, here I stand

- The Lamb

- Song for Athene
