Smiley (born Andrei Tiberiu Maria on July 27, 1983, in Pitești) is one of Romania's most loved and popular singer-songwriters, producers, and television personalities.

He rose to fame in the early 2000s as the frontman of the hit pop-dance group Simplu, before launching a highly successful solo music career and founding HaHaHa Production.

Solo Success: After releasing 5 albums with Simplu, he launched a massive solo career, releasing chart-topping albums like In Lipsa Mea, Acasă, and Confesiune. He has won multiple awards, including "Best Romanian Act" at the MTV Europe Music Awards.

Personal Life: Born in Pitești, Smiley was exposed to music at a very young age, attending the Dinu Lipatti music school. In his personal life, he has been in a long-term relationship with Romanian television star and model Gina Pistol. The couple welcomed their daughter, Josephine, in March 2021 and were married in May 2023.

Smiley's latest releases are the live acoustic single "Acasă (Live Armonie)" released in mid-April 2026 and the energetic collaborative single "Anii în care nu dormim" (featuring Alex Velea and Connect-R), which came out in February 2026.
