En s’inspirant du vécu de la compositrice, The Human Web est un projet interdisciplinaire conçu pour étudier comment la technologie et plus particulièrement les médias sociaux affectent la santé mentale, l'identité de soi et la vie publique en général. Faire de la musique est un processus de guérison, un moyen de se remettre d'un traumatisme et d’échanger avec les autres. À travers des compositions créatives inspirées de la musique combinées à de la littérature et des performances de danse contemporaine, The Human Web dévoile comment la construction sociale et les stéréotypes toxiques de la culture pop contrôlent nos modèles de vie et nos choix.
Pour cette performance à l’Off Jazz, Francesca Remigi présente un projet exclusif avec des artistes canadiens et italiens !
Les bases de cette collaboration internationale ont été posées lors d'une résidence artistique au Banff Centre for the Arts en 2019.

“The Human Web” is an interdisciplinary project designed to investigate how technology and specifically Social Media negatively affect mental health, self identity and public life at large, starting from the composer’s personal narrative. Music making becomes a healing process and a way to share and recover from personal trauma. Through creative music-inspired compositions combined with literature and contemporary dance performance, The Human Web unravels how social construct and pop culture’s toxic stereotypes are in control of our life models and choices. For The Human Web performance at L'OFF Jazz Festival, Remigi is premiering an exclusive project with Canadian and Italian artists. The groundwork for this international collaboration was laid during an artistic residency at Banff Center for the Arts in 2019.
