Whether suspension is new to you, or you need a revision of basic techniques, this class is for you. We’ll look at different tools to manage suspension lines (uplines), how to tie them to a harness, lock them, particularities of different anchor points, etc. This class is mainly geared towards riggers, but it could also be interesting for models who would like to be able to better access potential partners’ technical abilities. Class taught by Mlle Kate.
When: Thursday April 15, 7-9pm (Montreal time)
Who: All levels welcome. LGBTQ+ & allies. 18+
Format: online; not recorded
Language: English/French
Prerequisites: Proficiency in tying a single column. You can find my tutorial here: https://youtu.be/aHKvgq9WvZ0
Solo or Partnered: both (each participant needs a ticket)
What to bring: 2 ropes (8-9m), your safety tool, a weight of another heavy object
Other info: You will receive a link by email for the Point of Sale waiting room. You will be redirected from there to Zoom 15 minutes before the activity starts.
