Projet Virtuosi – Duo Leleu Brothers   

On Saturday, June 10th, join us at La Cite des Rocheuses at 6:30 pm and meet the Duo Leleu Brothers for a concert of trumpet and tuba.

This group formed by two brothers, Thomas Leleu who plays the tuba and Romain Leleu who plays the trumpet, is coming to Calgary for an amazing concert. After an international career for both and a huge request of their audience, they decided to create their band to play together after the 2020. You are invited in their fraternal universe “Virtuosi” for a unique, intimate and warm moment. You will navigate between different types of music: Classical music, Bossa Nova, Jazz and World music will be played. Join us and let yourself by guided by their incomparable technique and touching interpretation.

Biographie du groupe:

The Duo Leleu Brothers is composed of Thomas and Romain Leleu, tuba and trumpet players, both winners of the Victoire de la Musique Classique (in 2009 and 2012). Known for their innovative and unique way of playing music in their personal career, they have created music with some of the most famous composers and musicians around the world. They refuse to be locked in one type of music and want to be free during the process of music creation, that’s why they produce classical music as much as Baroque one or Jazz. They created their duo in Summer 2020 and are currently performing in a tour in France, Germany and Canada.
