Well-versed Hip-hop dancers from all over the world face off in 1 vs 1 battle, where style, technique, musicality, and raw energy are fully expressed.
Hosted by an MC, driven by a DJ, and judged by a panel of experts, each battle requires full mastery of freestyle under JOAT’s concepts.
With every round, the level rises and the tension builds.

JOAT Festival international de street dance is an annual event that offers a week of festivities, activities and performances in Montreal - at Place des Arts and in the heart of the Quartier des spectacles. On the program: high level battles, Breaking, Popping, Hip Hop, Krump, beatmakers, KidzBattle, street dance initiation workshops, master classes, exhibition! An opportunity for the public from all backgrounds to discover some of the Afro-American dances that have become popular around the world.
