Jayne Sutton
Originally from Pabos, in the Gaspé Peninsula, Jayne possesses a unique voice where soul, blues, and jazz meet with intensity and elegance.
Her rich and nuanced voice delivers deeply felt performances, balancing control and surrender, where every phrase becomes an emotion.
Inspired by Nina Simone, Etta James, Amy Winehouse, and Édith Piaf, she crafts a universe that is both powerful and delicate, profoundly human.
She has performed in numerous venues and events, including the Vieille Usine in Anse-à-Beaufils, various restaurants in Montreal, the Bromont Folk and Blues Festival, and the St-John Cultural Centre in Bromont (2024 program).
Accompanied on piano by Marc-André Cuierrier, a sensitive and refined musician, she offers a refined and elegant piano-vocal format, where the dialogue between voice and instrument gives full rein to emotion.
A suspended moment. Authentic. Profound.
Marc-André Cuierreir
From a very young age, Marc-André Cuierrier was introduced to music by learning the piano and flute. He distinguished himself early on by winning various competitions at both the provincial and national levels.
Musical director of the group Tocadéo since its formation in 2008, he is responsible for all the group's vocal and musical arrangements. This association has allowed him to collaborate with several leading figures in Quebec music: Marie Denise Pelletier, Diane Tell, Annie Villeneuve, Michel Louvain, Marjo, Marc Hervieux, Renee Wilkin, Marie Élaine Thibert, Geneviève Leclerc, and Manon Bédard.
He also collaborates with many other artists on stage and in the studio: Patsy Gallant, Lhasa DeSela, Patrick Olafson, Catherine Sénart, and Sylvie Tremblay, to name just a few.
A seasoned accompanist pianist, a passionate and versatile musician with over 30 years of professional experience, his virtuosity and sensitivity give full meaning to the word music.
