The Sherbrooke Wind Orchestra invites you to a very special concert on Sunday, March 29 at 3 p.m., at the Centennial Theatre of Bishop’s University.

Titled Discovering the Wind Orchestra, this concert offers an immersion into the heart of the wind‑band repertoire. Through works written exclusively for this ensemble, the audience is invited to experience the richness, power, and finesse of music for wind orchestra, while giving the musicians the opportunity to explore and showcase this unique repertoire.

For the occasion, the orchestra will be conducted by guest conductor Charles‑Éric Fontaine, a 29‑year‑old rising conductor with a master’s degree in wind‑orchestra conducting from McGill University. His musical sensitivity and energy promise an inspired and dynamic interpretation of this program entirely dedicated to the wind orchestra.
