Sherbrooke Wind Orchestra Christmas Concert

The Sherbrooke Wind Orchestra invites you to celebrate the magic of the holiday season at its grand Christmas Concert, a musical event filled with warmth, light, and virtuosity. Under the inspired baton of conductor Diane Caplette, the musicians will take you on a journey through the most beautiful Christmas melodies, in arrangements that are as touching as they are dazzling.

The program features a range of works that combine tradition and modernity:

Nutcracker Fantasia by Julie Giroux, a brilliant reinterpretation of Tchaikovsky's famous Nutcracker.

A Christmas Carol Fantasy by Takashi Hoshide, inspired by Charles Dickens' classic, full of emotion and nostalgia.

Santa's Journey by Roy W. Kaighin, a lively musical adventure following in Santa Claus' footsteps.

December Dance by Andrew Boysen Jr., with sparkling, festive rhythms.

A Festive Christmas by Kenny Bierschenk, a veritable bouquet of joy and good cheer.

A Charlie Brown Christmas by Vince Guaraldi (arr. Carl Strommen), which tenderly evokes the spirit of childhood Christmases.

Jingle Bells Fantasy by John Wasson, a classic revisited with brilliance and humor.

Jesus, Joy of Man's Desiring by Johann Sebastian Bach (arr. Alfred Reed), in serenity and splendor.
