Forming like Voltron from the 4 corners of Montreal, The Hardsteppers are once again curating a Drum and Bass event not to be missed. The second offering in the INFILTRATE series of events held at Le Redroom is jam packed full of positive feminine energy with the addition of DJ KIO to the roster of residents. We have the honor of receiving DJ BRACE who will be gracing us with her talents on the decks as well. Supporting our talented team of ladies, we have residents SOMSAY and REGIMENTAL holding down the first leg of beats with an onslaught of originals We have our Jungle brother number one EXPLOIT who will bless us all with the usual Amen vibes while IIITHRII and Wally will be holding down the last leg of the event, which makes staying until the end inevitable. If you are looking for a barrage of block rocking beats make your way to Le Redroom and come enjoy the bass.

Kio

Straight from the heart of Montreal’s underground, DJ Kio brings five years of deep bass experience and raw energy to every set. Blending all shades of drum and bass—rollers, jungle, liquid, neuro, jump-up—with the low-end pressure of 140, dubstep, UKG, bassline, and house (from bass and tech to Latin and nu-disco), Kio is a genre-hopping force with a deep love for sound system culture and the dancefloor as a sacred space.


She’s performed at events including DNB Collider, Mod District, and Lumière Noire, with appearances at venues like Le Red Room and Bar La Shop. Her radio features include Remote Emissions and What Will the Neighbours Think?! on Calgary’s CJSW 90.9 FM, along with regular takeovers on UK-based Sessions Radio. Whether through heavy drops or soulful grooves, Kio’s mission is simple: to move people—physically, emotionally, and spiritually—through the power of bass.

Somsay

say’s journey into Jungle and Drum & Bass began in the early '90s, when the first wave of raves hit Montreal. As a young enthusiast, he contributed to the scene through graphic design and flyer work for Hardsteppers events at Club Angels and various underground raves.

His passion for music led him to refine his craft, earning two production certificates from Toolroom Academy in House music. In 2024, Somsay transitioned into Drum & Bass production, combining his deep-rooted love for the genre with his newfound technical expertise. His first release is set to drop on Top G Records (UK) in 2025, marking a major milestone in his career.

Somsay has collaborated with MC Regimental (Montreal) and MC Aero (Toronto), further cementing his presence in the Canadian scene. He is also contributing to the highly anticipated Hardsteppers’ Infiltration LP and has officially joined the Hardsteppers crew following successful merch collaborations in 2024 and 2025.

Beyond production, Somsay has been actively shaping the local scene. In 2024, he started working at a club in Montreal and began producing House and Drum & Bass events at Club 2061. He also curated the music stage for the Under Pressure Graffiti Festival, booking top local Drum & Bass DJs and reconnecting with the community.

Now fully immersed in the scene once again, Somsay is dedicated to pushing Canadian Drum & Bass forward—both in the studio and behind the decks. With a strong vision for the future, expect fresh releases, high-energy DJ sets, and more events that keep the underground thriving.

IIITHRIII

IIITHRIII is a high-octane force in the world of underground electronic music, known for delivering sets packed with growling basslines, intricate sound design, and relentless breakbeats. Now diving deep into the darker edges of Neuro DnB, Crossbreed and Jungle, his sound pushes boundaries while paying homage to his breakcore roots.

An Amazigh(ⵣ) Belgian-born music producer and visual artist, IIITHRIII has carved out a unique path—contributing to iconic projects in film and gaming, including titles like Call of Duty and Star Wars. His work fuses the cinematic with the chaotic, the polished with the raw—building a bridge between high-energy rave culture and immersive storytelling.

Wally

Active since 2003, Wally is a Montreal based artist focused on blending djing, live instruments and electronic performance to create uniquely curated musical trips spanning across genres, eras and origins from dub to jungle, juke to UKG, metal to dubstep and everything in between.


Wally is affiliated with Bassix as a resident DJ, tech and archivist. They also helped create Forward Music, Montreal's first dubstep weekly that laid the foundations of a now thriving scene.

Exploit

A true organizer of the underground, DJ Exploit is a relentless force in Montreal’s Jungle / DnB scene, curating raw, high-energy nights that push the boundaries of sound system culture. As the mastermind behind Future Jungle, Exploit has built a movement dedicated to deep, rolling basslines, relentless breakbeats, and the unmistakable crack of the Amen break.

Regimental

Regimental Oneton is a multi- disciplinary artist. An accomplished painter and writer that has spent the last 20 years producing music and Mc’ing. You can catch him and his music on Youtube simply search Channel Oneton.
