Martin Petit

Martin Petit impresses with the breadth and​ ​diversity of his talent. Whether on​​ TV, on​ ​the radio, on stage, or as a journalist, Martin Petit does things differently​ ​from everyone else, and the joy he takes in every project is​ ​contagious. ​ ​

A regular at the Just for Laughs Galas for over​ ​15 years as a host or guest, Martin’s performances are always among the highlights​ ​of the event. He has received an impressive​ ​total of 8 Olivier Awards for his three one-man shows. Among​ ​his many awards, he has earned the​ ​title of​ ​“Show of the Year”​ ​(2000, 2005, and​ ​2011), “Writer of the Year”​ ​(2000,​ ​2005, 2011), and “Act of the Year” (2000, 2005). Also noteworthy are the Félix Award for Best Show (2005), the Youth Prize at the Morges Festival in Switzerland (2005), and the Grand Prizes from the jury and the press at the International Comedy Festival in Rochefort, Belgium (2006).
