Mitch Jean

As a Franco-Ontarian artist from a small town in Northern Ontario, Mitch Jean creates music with deep roots. Since picking up a guitar for the first time at the age of twelve, he has explored many different musical styles but ultimately found his sound somewhere between modern country and rock. Drawing inspiration from 80s guitar legends like Def Leppard and the songwriting style of country artists such as Eric Church, Mitch Jean has carved out a musical identity all his own. He’s a Canadian country rocker with stories to tell.

Reney Ray

Originally from Kapuskasing and proud of her roots, Reney stands out for her ability to tell her stories in both official languages, with heart, and serene authenticity. She released a self-titled debut album in 2018, including hits Le monde est con and Online, followed by a 2nd, À l'Ouest du réel, in March 2021. In 2022, she wins “Franco-Canadian Songwriter of the Year” at the Canadian Folk Music Awards, and “Francophone Artist of the Year” at the Country Music Association of Ontario Awards, a title she also collects in 2023 and 2024. In the fall of 2023, she won “Coup de coeur du public” at the Gala Trille Or for Ontario and Western Canada. Her third opus, L'Album temporaire, has been available on all digital platforms since April 26, 2024. Its release was celebrated with a launch-show at Cabaret Lion D'Or in the presence of her band and valued collaborators.
