Scale of Change Film Tour – Halifax Stop

Presented in collaboration with NSSA

The Scale of Change Film Tour is a conservation-driven traveling film tour dedicated to protecting wild Atlantic salmon and the rivers they call home. Featuring powerful films from across Canada, the tour raises awareness about the challenges facing this iconic species while celebrating the people and communities working to protect it.

The tour collaborates closely with the PALM Festival, an adventure-focused fly-fishing film festival that celebrates exploration, storytelling, and the culture of fly-fishing. Through this partnership, Scale of Change films are presented alongside adventure fly-fishing films by Canadian filmmakers, creating dynamic events that balance conservation messaging with inspiration and cinematic adventure.

More than just a film screening, each stop becomes a space for connection—bringing together anglers, filmmakers, conservationists, and local communities to spark conversation, raise awareness, and inspire collective action for the future of wild salmon and the rivers they depend on.

A special guest appearance from Fred Campbell, co-founder of Hooké, will be featured, followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers.
