Nova Spei

NOVA SPEI c’est : Nouveau venu sur la scène métal francophone québécoise a lancé/présenté son premier album « Éponyme » en première partie du groupe Anonymus à travers le Québec lors de la tournée de décembre 2017. En 2019, ils ont fait le tour de la majorité des grandes villes québécoise durant la tournée 30ième anniversaire de la même formation. C'est plus de 50 dates au total que Nova Spei aura fait pour promouvoir leur premier album 
une sonorité lourde provenant de la guitare et de la batterie rappelant Deftones, Messhugah et Tesseract. Un vocal influencé par Killswitch Engage, Staind, Breaking Benjamen. Un côté progressif à la basse inspiré par Dream Theater et Porcupine Tree.  Des rythmes qui dépeignent avec des textes qui laissent place à la réflexion. Un métal réfléchi à saveur Djent.  

Outlying

Hailing from a rural industrial area called Bécancour, in Québec, Canada, the first incarnation of the band, before becoming what it is today, was formed by three kids at the local high school who wanted to rock out and play some cover songs by their favourite bands. Back in these days, in 2004, the band wrote a couple of original songs, then the project fell apart since no one was getting involved in pushing things forward as they were busy with other projects.
