Nik and Sara went vegan in 2013 and it took about a year until they started to question how they could justify paying to kill other animals to feed their cat, and if vegan cat food was potentially a healthy alternative? It turned out that plant based cat foods had been on the market for over 20 years, and there are thousands of cats thriving on nutritionally complete vegan cat foods. Noticing a need in the market for such products, they began to supply vegan pet food both online (www.vgrrr.com) and in stores (available at: Marche Herbivores, Sham, Veganation, Espace Vegane, Café Freida - Trois Rivières).
