LES SOEURS BOULAY ET ELLIOT MAGINOT
Elliot Maginot and the Boulay sisters met in a small bar in Montreal's Latin Quarter in 2012, in the midst of the tumultuous Maple Spring. Sharing a common love for many artists (Joni Mitchell, Leonard Cohen, Bon Iver), they quickly became friends, then roommates. Maginot opened for Les Soeurs Boulay on tour for several years, and together they traveled the roads of Quebec, learning the ropes of the business and the complexities of lasting friendships. After almost 15 years of making music together in different contexts (benefit shows, TV sets, studios, collective shows), as their respective tours were coming to an end, it became clear to Elliot, Stéphanie, and Mélanie that they wanted to go on tour together, as in the good old days of pre-COVID, pre-Trump, pre-inflation carefree times. This time, all three will be on stage at the same time, playing all the instruments, revisiting their respective repertoires and singing the songs of the greats who inspired them to make music the center of their lives. Despite the turbulent times and the uncertainty that looms, the Boulay sisters and Elliot Maginot are doing something.

Her musical universe blends RnB, rock, and shoegaze, exploring the tension between the familiar and the unknown, desire and uncertainty. Her EP Closer Than Hell reflects this inner quest, oscillating between vulnerability, letting go, and playfulness.
She has stood out with several notable projects, including her debut EP in 2019 and her critically acclaimed 2022 album Perennial. She has also performed on major stages, including the Montreal Jazz Festival, and has toured internationally. In parallel, she continues to pursue a career in film.
A daring artist, Hanorah keeps exploring and creating freely, driven by constant research and a desire for renewal.
