A testament to the power of his songwriting, Malinowski's music has been covered by Sturgill Simpson, Frank Turner, Diplo, The Interrupters, and Grandson. He has collaborated with artists ranging from Preservation Hall Jazz Band, to Philly house legend King Britt, to Darryl Jennifer of D.C. hardcore pioneers Bad Brains. “Under a Landslide of Stars” is Malinowski’s first record under his new moniker “MALINOWSKI” and is a sonic exploration of his passion for soaring anthemic harmonies and hymns. The album enlists choirs from all over the continent: from gospel singers in New Orleans featuring the work of Rick Nelson (Afghan Whigs / Twilight Singers) and Clint Maedgen (Preservation Hall Jazz Band) to a 150-person community choir recorded live in a church in Victoria, B.C., Canada.
