DYNAMIC GEOMETRY — Esthetics Updated using The Axis Syllabus

The human body plan is a chaotic interweaving of twisting curves and oblique intersections, where there are no clear lines or right angles to be found. Although geometrical simplicity is a prized value for performance, it follows that attempts to force the body to conform to monoplanes and single rotational axes presents the risk of injury. But the good news is, a basic study of anatomy and physics provides cues and clues for maintaining joint integrity when creating resonant geometrical shapes and pathways.

Using the Axis Syllabus as a guide to joint centration and coherency, this session will provide a methodological approach to simultaneous geometrical clarity and health conservation.
