The PALM Festival is made possible with the financial assistance of the Ministère de l'Environnement et de la Lutte contre les changements climatiques, de la Faune et des Parcs and with the support of Saumon Québec's partners.

The PALM Festival is a presentation of Saumon Québec and the Atlantic salmon federation (ASF) in collaboration with Hooké. In its annual tour, the PALM Festival features Quebec filmmakers selected by a committee in the spring of 2024.

The selected videographers were awarded $5,000 bursaries by Saumon Québec to help finance the production of their films. Through their projects, they share their passion, lifestyle and fly-fishing culture with you, while introducing you to new territories.

The PALM Festival is also an opportunity for fishing, nature and film enthusiasts to meet and talk with various organizations working in the field.

The evening screenings offer the public the opportunity to view the short films of the selected video artists, as well as non-competition films, including a presentation by Saumon Québec, a Hooké production, and a documentary presented by ASF and Hooké.
