History, dreams and imagination are undoubtedly the most fertile materials used by many writers. How do they use them? And how do these materials fit in with life - the writer's life and the life of the book being written? The writers Salman Rushdie (The Enchantress of Florence, The Golden House, The Knife) and Simon Sebag Montefiore (The Moscow Trilogy, The World. A Family History of Humanity, The Romanov) give us a glimpse into some of their work.

Please note: for security reasons, the audience must arrive 30 minutes ahead of the start of the event. Please note that bags and personal items will be inspected upon arrival. It will not be possible to enter after the start of the event.
