As part of the Metropolis bleu Romance, Fantasy and Other Imaginary series, meet fantasy author Pascale Lacelle, for whom tides and the moon hold no secrets. With her Drowned Gods trilogy, the French-Canadian author, who writes in English, has created a whole universe and mythology around these natural phenomena. The first two volumes of the trilogy, Curious Tides and Strangers Skies, have since been translated into French, using the same titles. As part of the event, Pascale Lacelle will talk about the legends and folklore that inspired her, and how she used this material to create a world with its own mythology. She will read from her book. This will be followed by a discussion with the audience and a book signing.
