BOUBÉ

Boubé is a dynamic Tuareg musician from Niger, now based in Montreal, celebrated for his electrifying blend of desert blues and rock. Raised in Iferouane, a village on the edge of the Ténéré desert renowned for its Tuareg music festival, Boubé immersed himself in the musical traditions of his people from an early age. A self-taught artist, he began touring across Africa at 13, performing with various groups. In 2012–2013, he joined internationally acclaimed musician Bombino as a percussionist and drummer, touring countries including Algeria, Mali, and Nigeria. The following year, he collaborated with Mdou Moctar, performing across Europe and North America .
