Angela Nashed wants to tell you a story through music that you haven’t heard before.

Her sound, a blend of soul, funk, blues, and R&B carries you through her melodic universe of love, pain, beauty, and poetry.

As a daughter of Egyptian immigrants and a child of the 90s, Angela's musical influences were eclectic at an early age and these worldly influences attribute to her a fresh style. 

Sensual, aching vocals that move across emotional and mental states, at times moving you to dance and at other times moving you to tears. With surprising turns yet familiar haunts, Angela ignites the full-bodied atmosphere and authentic textures of Soul/RnB.

Fille d'immigrés égyptiens et enfant des années 90, Angela a été bercée dès son plus jeune âge par des influences musicales éclectiques. Ces influences venues du monde entier lui confèrent un style unique et rafraîchissant.

Avec une voix sensuelle et poignante, elle traverse des états émotionnels et mentaux, vous entraînant tantôt dans la danse, tantôt jusqu’aux larmes. Avec des tournants inattendus et des sonorités familières, Angela insuffle à sa musique l’atmosphère vibrante et les textures authentiques de la Soul et du RnB.

Angela Roa

Angela Roa is a singer-songwriter born in Temuco, Chile. She started on the musical scene at the Chilean Peñas in Montreal, Canada. Currently Angela resides in Montreal, QC, where she has been making music with the collaboration of local artists. Angela’s music presents an eclectic mix of Latin American genres that include popular folklore, Brazilian rhythms, boleros and Afro-Latin cadences. Her music also denotes influences of jazz, contemporary pop music, reggae, and blues. Angela Roa has produced an EP titled Tantas Hembras, which is available for sale at CDBaby and on iTunes. She is currently working on her next CD.

Angela Roa est une auteure-compositrice-interprète née à Temuco, au Chili. Elle a fait ses débuts sur la scène musicale lors des Peñas chiliennes à Montréal, au Canada. Actuellement, Angela réside à Montréal, QC, où elle crée de la musique en collaboration avec des artistes locaux. Nima Machouf

Nimâ Machouf (born March 24, 1965) is a Canadian–Iranian epidemiologist and politician. She holds a doctorate in public health from the University of Montreal and specializes in international health and infectious diseases, particularly.

As a university student in Quebec, Machouf became involved in feminist and political movements and participated in the Marche du Pain et des Roses (Walk of Bread and Roses). Through her activism in student associations promoting international solidarity, she contributed to the creation of the Union of Progressive Forces in 2002.

She has also maintained involvement in Montreal's Iranian community. Machouf sat for 8 years on the board of directors of Médecins du Monde. She also ran successfully in the municipal elections under the Projet Montréal banner in 2009.

Machouf has also participated in missions in many countries in Africa and Central America. Among other things, she joined the international observation mission for the Mexican elections held in the summer of 2018. She also participated in the Gaza Freedom Flotilla "Breaking the Siege" mission that was blocked by Turkey on April 2024.

Nimâ Machouf (née le 24 mars 1965) est une épidémiologiste et politicienne canado-iranienne. Elle est titulaire d'un doctorat en santé publique de l'Université de Montréal et se spécialise en santé internationale et en maladies infectieuses.

Étudiante universitaire au Québec, Machouf s'est engagée dans des mouvements féministes et politiques et a participé à la Marche du Pain et des Roses. Par son militantisme au sein d'associations étudiantes promouvant la solidarité internationale, elle a contribué à la création de l'Union des forces progressistes en 2002.

Elle est également active au sein de la communauté iranienne de Montréal. Machouf a siégé pendant huit ans au conseil d'administration de Médecins du Monde. Elle a aussi été élue lors des élections municipales sous la bannière de Projet Montréal en 2009.

Machouf a participé à des missions dans de nombreux pays d'Afrique et d'Amérique centrale. Entre autres, elle a rejoint la mission internationale d'observation des élections mexicaines de l'été 2018.

Elle a également pris part à la mission de la Flottille de la liberté pour Gaza, "Briser le siège", qui a été interceptée en Turquie en avril 2024.

Kathy Alexandra Villegas

Kathy-Alexandra est une artiste multidisciplinaire diplômée de l'école de théâtre (UQAM) en 2019. Née de parents immigrants chiliens, elle jongle constamment entre le français, l'espagnol et l'anglais. En avril 2020, elle remporte une bourse de l'École nationale d'acteur du Canada pour une performance vidéo sur la crise sociale au ChNationionals, elle crée et présente une performance pour la commémoration annuelle du coup d'État chilien depuis 2019 à Montréal. Elle obtient également le rôle principal dans la pièce « En crise » d'Anick Lefebvre, présentée lors du festival théâtre-ado de Laval en avril 2023. Elle décroche ensuite le premier rôle de l'adaptation du livre « Là où je me terre » à Radio-Canada OHdio en 2022, puis sur scène à La Bordée, en novembre 2023. Cette artiste indépendante accumule les projets de créations autant solo qu’en collectif depuis sa sortie de l’école. En tant qu'auteure, sa première pièce Medea Luz, qui traite des relations mère-fille et de la transmission de violence, est sélectionné pour la 23ème édition du Jamais Lu Festival. Avec un feu de révolution, convaincue que l'art est un acte politique sous quelque forme que ce soit, Kathy-Alexandra crée avec la fusion de différents arts, langages et médiums. Créant sous toutes ses formes, tel un cri de révolte, un appel à l’unité et à la réflexion collective.

Kathy-Alexandra is a multidisciplinary artist who graduated from acting school (UQAM) in 2019. Born to Chilean immigrant parents, she constantly juggles between French, Spanish and English. In April 2020, she won a scholarship from the Nationional Acting school of Canada for a video performance on the social crisis in Chile. Moreover, she created and presented a performance for the annual commemoration of the Chilean Coup since 2019 in Montreal. She also obtained the leading role in the play “En crise” by Anick Lefebvre,which was presented during the Laval theater-ado festival in April 2023. She then landed the first role of the adaptation of the book “Là où je me terre” on Radio-Canada OHdio in 2022, then on stage at La Bordée, in November 2023. This independent artist has accumulated both solo and collective creation projects since graduating from acting school. As an author, her first play Medea Luz, which deals with mother-daughter relationships and the transmission of violence, is selected for the 23rd edition of the Jamais Lu Festival. With a fire of revolution, believing art is a political act in any form, Kathy-Alexandra creates with the fusion of different arts, languages and mediums. Creating in all its forms, like a scream of revolt, a call for unity and collective reflection.

Samar Alkhdour

Sumar Alkhdour originally hailed from Gaza, Palestine. In 2016, she earned the Fulbright scholarship to study International Development at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, USA, focusing her studies on Women, Gender and Sexuality. She worked in Gaza as interpreter/translator for eight years in the field of human rights. Summer tirelessly worked to bring her 13-year-old daughter Jana to Canada. Tragically, just two weeks before the Canadian government informed her that Jana was finally eligible to enter the country in January 2024, Jana was murdered by the IOF. Devastated by her loss, Summer channeled her grief into activism, organizing a daily sit-in outside the office of Marc Miller, the Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship. Her actions sparked broader protests against Canada’s complicity in the occupation of Palestine, expanding to target other political figures, businesses and academic institutions that support or benefit from the oppression of the Palestinian people. Summer was subjected to unlawful arrests, detention, and police brutality in the past year just for being a voice for justice, not only honoring the memory of Jana but also shinning a spotlight on the complicity of those perpetuating the suffering of her people and other people.

Samar Alkhdour est originaire de Gaza, en Palestine. En 2016, elle a obtenu la bourse Fulbright pour étudier le développement international à l'Université de l'Ohio, à Athens, Ohio, aux États-Unis, en se spécialisant dans les études sur les femmes, le genre et la sexualité. Elle a travaillé à Gaza comme interprète/traductrice pendant huit ans dans le domaine des droits humains.

Summer a travaillé sans relâche pour faire venir sa fille de 13 ans, Jana, au Canada. Tragiquement, seulement deux semaines avant que le gouvernement canadien ne l'informe, en janvier 2024, que Jana était enfin éligible pour entrer dans le pays, Jana a été assassinée par l'armée d'occupation israélienne (IOF). Dévastée par sa perte, Summer a transformé son chagrin en militantisme, organisant un sit-in quotidien devant le bureau de Marc Miller, le ministre de l'Immigration, des Réfugiés et de la Citoyenneté. Son action a déclenché des manifestations plus larges contre la complicité du Canada dans l'occupation de la Palestine, ciblant également d'autres figures politiques, entreprises et institutions académiques qui soutiennent ou profitent de l'oppression du peuple palestinien.

Au cours de l'année passée, Summer a été victime d'arrestations illégales, de détention et de violences policières, simplement pour avoir été une voix en faveur de la justice, honorant non seulement la mémoire de Jana, mais mettant aussi en lumière la complicité de ceux qui perpétuent la souffrance de son peuple et d'autres peuples.

Colectiva Tribu

Colectiva Tribu, fondée en 2019 de manière autogérée et auto-convoquée, a d'abord émergé pour partager et discuter des réalités sociales vécues par les femmes immigrantes. Aujourd'hui, ce collectif réunit des femmes et dissidentes féministes d'origines, générations et milieux divers, travaillant sur des enjeux locaux et internationaux, en mettant l'accent sur les défis quotidiens rencontrés par ses membres.

Dans sa lutte contre la violation des droits des femmes, le collectif intervient dans l'espace public par des actions et performances artistiques. Il milite également pour l'ouverture d'espaces d'échange et de discussion, permettant à d'autres femmes et dissidentes de se joindre à la cause en partageant la vision d'une lutte commune.

Colectiva Tribu, founded in 2019 in a self-managed and self-organized manner, initially emerged to share and discuss the social realities experienced by immigrant women. Today, this collective brings together feminist women and dissidents from diverse backgrounds, generations, and environments, working on both local and international issues while focusing on the daily challenges faced by its members.

In its fight against the violation of women's rights, the collective takes action in public spaces through artistic performances and interventions. It also advocates for the creation of spaces for exchange and discussion, allowing other women and dissidents to join the cause by sharing the vision of a common struggle.

Stephanie Greene

Stephanie is an actress, writer, educator and director, who began her career at 17, with Montreal’s regional improvisation team. She has done theatre from Off-Broadway to Los Angeles, and created a Citizens of the Stage program to introduce kids to social justice theatre. She became a true activist in 2016, participating and speaking at protests and rallies to defend the rights of women, immigrants, and other marginalized people. She believes in giving a voice to everyone, and that the arts can inspire truth and empathy.

Stéphanie est une actrice, écrivaine, éducatrice et réalisatrice qui a commencé sa carrière à 17 ans avec l'équipe régionale d'improvisation de Montréal. Elle a fait du théâtre, de l'Off-Broadway à Los Angeles, et a créé un programme "Citoyens de la Scène" pour initier les enfants au théâtre engagé pour la justice sociale. Elle est devenue une véritable activiste en 2016, participant et prenant la parole lors de manifestations et rassemblements pour défendre les droits des femmes, des immigrants et des autres populations marginalisées. Elle croit en l'importance de donner une voix à chacun et en la capacité des arts à inspirer la vérité et l’empathie.

Ana Gomez

Ana Gómez est une vocaliste d’origine espagnole qui écrit de la poésie depuis toute petite. Elle chante depuis ses 20 ans et démontre une approche émotive et sensible à la musique. Ces deux musiciennes se retrouvent pour partager un moment de magie et de poésie en l’espace d’un moment éphémère. Accompagnée de l’invitée Ema Jean, elles formeront un trio mélodieux le soir du 15 mars 2025.

Ana Gómez is a vocalist of Spanish origin who has been writing poetry since childhood. She has been singing since her twenties, showcasing an emotional and sensitive approach to music. These two musicians come together to share a moment of magic and poetry in a fleeting instant. Joined by guest artist Ema Jean, they will form a harmonious trio on the evening of March 15, 2025.

Elo Sono

Connue pour sa voix au timbre chaud et unique, Elo Sono est une chanteuse péruvienne basée à Montréal. Ayant grandit dans une famille de musiciens, elle fait de la musique depuis sont jeune âge et partage souvent la scène avec son père et son frère dans le projet nommé « El son sono ».

Known for her warm and unique voice, Elo Sono is a Peruvian singer based in Montreal. Having grown up in a family of musicians, she has been making music since a young age and often shares the stage with her father and brother in a project called "El Son Sono."

Eiem AM

Eiem AM is a Rap artist coming from the heart of the Colombian Capital. Immigrant in Canada since 2018 and now part of the new Latin Hip Hop scene in Montreal, she has been influenced by different Latin-American rhythms among other genres. She starts in the Hip Hop world in her early teenage years and begins to get involved in the 90’s culture on her own. In her first attempts to start filling her notebook, Eiem AM was part of an emerging group in her native capital's surrounding area. She currently works on her new project BOULEVARD VICTORIA, which was realized in February 2025 and explores with some local beatmakers. She has shared as well scenarios with well known and respected artist from Montreal.

Lors de ses premières tentatives d’écriture, Eiem AM faisait partie d’un groupe émergent dans les environs de sa capitale natale. Elle travaille actuellement sur son nouveau projet, **BOULEVARD VICTORIA**, qui a été lancé en février 2025 et explore de nouvelles sonorités aux côtés de beatmakers locaux. Elle a également partagé la scène avec des artistes reconnus et respectés de Montréal.
