This show will feature incredible performances by 200 JHHA dancers from their Performance Company to their recreational classes ages 4 to 18, popping, locking, breaking, waacking, krumping, lite feet, hip hop and house dancing. The show will also take trip down memory lane as we throwback to the achievements of JHHA, from their humble beginnings to performing on Ellen, to opening for Michelle Obama, becoming the Jr. Dance Teams to the Toronto Argos, Raptors 905 and viral Toronto Raptors half time performances, to performing at the Toronto International Film Festival and having their work reposted and retweeted by Missy Elliot, Paula Abdul, Dwayne THE ROCK Johnson and so much more!

JHHA is located in a pandemic hot spot region with some of the strictest lock down measures in the entire country. Dance studios have been closed since November under stay at home lock down orders and their students have spent 6 months training on zoom. JADE'S HIP HOP ACADEMY

Jade's Hip Hop Academy (JHHA) is a world renowned Hip Hop and Street Dance Studio located in Brampton, Canada. The Academy aims to introduce young dancers to the foundational techniques of Hip Hop and street dance styles Popping, Locking, Breaking, House, Lite Feet, Waacking and Krump and provide a platform for them to train, compete and perform. The studio is led by Owner and Artistic Director Jade Jager Clark who opened the studio at the age of 18 and has become an award winning choreographer and entrepreneur. Dancers not only learn technique and build a hip hop and street dance vocabulary, they also learn the history and origins of the styles. Jade and staff train with the creators, pioneers and elders of the styles they teach and pass on the knowledge to their students. This process separates their programs from the unfortunate majority of other dance studios worldwide who claim to teach hip hop but lack the desire to train with the founders and teach commercial dance, jazz funk and/or street jazz as "hip hop" dance instead. Access to opportunities for youth are a driving force behind JHHA's programming that provide recreational, pre-competitive and competitive programs as well as a professional performance company. JHHA Performance Company has broken barriers and stereotypes of what young dancers are capable of at a professional level. It has paved the way for young hip hop dancers to make a global impact through viral videos on YouTube of their inspirational and transformative performances regarding world and social issues and their high energy entertaining performances at corporate, charitable and sporting events.
