BAD SKIN
With lipstick and ripped pants, this female band took its place in the Quebec scenes in the 2000s by reviving Punk rock while projecting a rebellious image and against the norms of society.
FESSE TOUTE
Fesse toute is the perfect recipe for a successful festive evening. A groove with exciting guitar riffs and caustic bass lines reminiscent of the golden age of disco. It's catchy choruses and a vocal flow inspired by Loco Locass and American East Coast hip-hop of the 90s. A completely exploded mix that makes you dance every time and leaves no one indifferent.
The collective was formed in the fall of 2019 by Paul-Raphaël Charron on vocals, Hugo Blouin-Leclerc on guitar, Olivier Amyot-Ladouceur on bass and Antoine Guay on drums. If the acolytes first come together with the aim of reviving their old group The Best Foot Forward, the desire to write in French is quickly felt and the idea of forming a new group is then imposed.
The young formation offers an artistic retirement in the summer of 2020 from which will be born 8 original songs which will form their first album Streetbang, co-produced with Stéphane Rancourt (Bear Production) and released on January 21, 2022.
RADIOS
The first single Streetbang was welcomed with open arms in Quebec radios. After just a few days, the song climbed into the ADISQ BDS Top50 as well as the Pop Rock Top25 BDS, in addition to entering rotation on the Énergie network throughout the province, carving out a place for itself in the track record of BLVD102.1, CHYZ and CKRL. The second single Kung Fury (Canada Post) also carved out a
prominent place on the province's radio stations as well as on SiriusXM.
In total, more than 50 stations have added the two singles to their programming in Quebec and Ontario.
WOODWOLF
Active since 2014, Woodwolf is a duo formed by singer Fred Moffet and drummer Alex Boutin. The rock band from Quebec draws its inspiration from groups such as The Doors and Led Zeppelin as well as the grunge sound of the 90s and the stoner rock of today. Their first album Golden Road, released in 2018 and produced by Dominic Pelletier (Caravane), allowed the band to become known and thus have the chance to open for April Wine at the Impérial Bell during the 52nd edition of the Festival d'été de Québec. On March 4, 2022, Woodwolf released their new EP De l'aut'bord directed by Luc Bourgeois (Sandveiss), marking a turning point for the group which wishes to produce more French-speaking material in its future projects.
