Pascal Quoquochi Sasseville : Chaman

Back from the Entrecuerdas Festival in Santiago, Chile, the Forestare Guitar Ensemble has brought home a magnificent work by Chilean composer Javier Farias. Arauco, of Sap and Blood, a nine-movement piece for guitars and double basses, is inspired by the poem by Alonso de Ercilla and pays tribute to the resistance of the Mapuche people against the Spanish invader.
