Open Body is a conceptual night of performance art brought to you by Achraf (Eywaa) and Mukoma (J. Style). Two active members of the Montreal street dance community.
We're back for a ninth edition which will take place on two days, Saturday, September 20th and Sunday, September 21st at Studio 303. This edition will feature two incredible guests. Visit our Instagram page to follow the guest reveal and other info concerning the event (@_openbody).
As part of our artistic direction (which will be explained at the event), we will also open the floor to three dancers selected through our Open List form.
Open Body offers a platform for dancers to express themselves in a different context than the ones they've become accustomed to; a platform that facilitates the transition from an idea to a draft; and that puts the art of freestyling on a pedestal. Simultaneously, we offer our audience an up-close and personal experience by providing an early access to unreleased material.
We invite you to witness their offering on this special night that will not fail to blow you away. Get your ticket and see you on September 20th.

Join us for a full-day experience on Sunday, September 21st at 100LUX, where the day will unfold as follows:
Workshop Schedule (September 21st):
1:00 PM — Warm-Up with Empowered Movement (Anaïs "Rise" Gilles)
1:30 PM — Workshop with invited guest, based on the concepts explored in their performance
3:30 PM — Cool Off Session led by Mickeline Couturier
4:30 PM — End
Be ready for a full training experience.
Important Message:
Please bring a clean pair of shoes for both days in order to keep the floor adequate for yourself and the performers.
