DéBARK Festival
Le Nouveau International invites you to the DéBARK Festival, a new improv festival taking place from October 3rd to 9th, 2023, at Theatre Sainte-Catherine. Join us in celebrating spontaneous art, one wild night at a time!
Throughout this week, you'll have the chance to witness bilingual improv shows of all kinds. Whether it's theatrical improv, classical improv, or even vaudeville-style, there will definitely be an evening that suits your taste! Come reunite with your favorite improvisers from Sunday Night Improv and Les Lundis, as well as meeting new faces! Embracing diversity on multiple levels, DéBARK Festival aims to present entertaining theatre accessible to everyone while offering an alternative to conventional performance venues.
We're also fortunate to have two guest artists who will dazzle you. Straight from France, Valentine Nogalo will join us on various evenings to bring an inclusive, feminist, and creative touch to our shows. On the other side of the things, directly from Toronto, Peter Stevens will amaze us with his intelligence, wit, and storytelling abilities! In addition to their performances, during the festivities, these two illustrious artists will give you the opportunity to dive into their artistic worlds during special workshops over the weekend.
