Synopsis : Dans la forêt est un essai documentaire qui explore les liens profonds entre les humains, les animaux et la forêt. À travers des fragments de vie qui se croisent, se répondent ou se contredisent, le film esquisse peu à peu le portrait d’un monde riche et complexe, parfois trouble, où cohabitent les volontés de protéger et d’exploiter. Naviguant entre réalisme, engagement politique et onirisme, il dévoile un espace forestier qui, face aux bouleversements climatiques et à la sixième extinction de masse, murmure — à qui sait l’écouter — l’urgence de protéger le fragile équilibre entre l’humanité, la faune et la flore.

Synopsis: In the Forest is a documentary essay that explores the deep connections between humans, animals, and the forest. Through fragments of lives that intersect, echo, or contradict one another, the film gradually weaves the portrait of a rich, complex, and sometimes unsettling world where the desire to protect coexists with the drive to exploit. Moving between realism, political engagement, and dreamlike imagery, it reveals a forest that — in the face of multiplying climate upheavals and an accelerating sixth mass extinction — whispers, to those who know how to listen, the urgent need to safeguard the fragile balance between humanity, fauna, and flora.
