Candlelight Concerts 2025
Concerts for all tastes!
JULY 2: Beyries, a well-known folk-pop singer-songwriter, will perform her favorite tracks from her third album, Du feu dans les lilas (Félix Award for Album of the Year – Adult Contemporary 2024), as well as well-known songs from her English-language repertoire.
JULY 9: Emeraude Sébastien, a passionate neo-Gaspesian artist, invites us to discover his compositions, a blend of folk and pop-rock, from his album Le fleuve qui danse. He will be accompanied by Aelin Zackael on violin and transverse flute and William Morris on double bass.
JULY 16: Ben Nesrallah, pianist, neoclassical singer-songwriter, and veteran stage artist (over 750 shows worldwide), will immerse us in his poetic musical universe.
JULY 23: Carl Mayotte (Félix Jazz Album 2022, nominated for the ADISQ and OPUS Prizes, and winner of the GAMIQ Jazz Album 2024) will present, in a quintet format, a selection of his jazz compositions, where we will appreciate all his virtuosity and versatility.
JULY 30: Alan Côté, a well-known singer-songwriter from Petite-Vallée, accompanied by Mathilde Côté and Claude Fradette, will present a folk-pop show based on his most recent album, Les Vents de travers.
AUGUST 6: Lydia Clapperton, originally from Grande-Rivière, will offer a classical piano concert where she will perform her compositions, including those from her latest album, winner of Album of the Year at the 2024 GAMIQ.
AUGUST 13: Shaina Hayes, originally from Shigawake in the Gaspé Peninsula, a highly talented singer-songwriter well-known in Quebec and Canada (her latest album was nominated in 2024 at the GAMIQ and ADISQ), will offer us her music in a solo format, a combination of pop, rock, and country in English that seduces with its warmth and very personal themes.
AUGUST 20: Les Fins Renards, a group composed of the duo Benoit Gauthier and Francis Plourde, both from Baie des Chaleurs, will offer us a return to their roots by revisiting their folk-rock repertoire from their various albums in a minimalist guitar-double bass-percussion formula.
