On December 8, join us this holiday season for a unique musical celebration that brings the timeless genius of Bach together with the vibrant sounds of the Swingle Singers, all while capturing the festive spirit of Christmas!
Bach's music carries a universal message of hope and faith—a message that resonates especially during the holiday season when we turn toward light and hope, regardless of our culture or beliefs. Add to this the lively, playful energy of the Swingle Singers, and you have a concert that’s as magical as it is unexpected.
The program includes:
Cantata "Nach dir, Herr, verlanget mich" BWV 150
Motet "Jesu, meine Freude" BWV 227
And a delightful surprise: BadabadaBACH or four Bach pieces reimagined by the Swingle Singers with modern vocal arrangements, blending Baroque music with a festive, contemporary twist—perfect for the Christmas spirit.
Ready to discover this one-of-a-kind repertoire? Before the concert, dive into the world of Bach with a pre-concert talk hosted by François Gauthier (host of Chez Gauthier, Unique FM) and our musical director Tiphaine Legrand. Gain insight into the pieces being performed and uncover the secrets that make them so special.
To enhance your experience, we encourage you to explore the concert booklet in the comfort of your home—helping to preserve the environment in the process. Printed programs will also be available on-site, though in limited quantities.
