Born in Hayward, California and raised in Sacramento, LEX began her DJ career at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. After making the bold decision to quit nursing school to pursue her passion for music, she built an at-home studio using her father’s DJ equipment and began posting mashups and mixes online. What started as bedroom mixes quickly gained momentum, growing her audience to over 800K followers on TikTok and more than 500K on Instagram.
Blending nostalgia with modern energy, LEX developed a signature sound rooted in R&B and hip-hop culture. Her natural feel for rhythm, groove, and storytelling through music helped her viral mixes resonate widely across social media and establish her as one of the fastest-rising DJs of her generation.
Since then, LEX has taken her sound from the internet to stages around the world, touring internationally and selling out shows across North America. She has opened for and shared stages with artists including Kehlani, Bryson Tiller, Summer Walker, YG, P-Lo, Larry June, and Lil Jon, while also collaborating with global artists including Will Smith and Teyana Taylor.
With a classical piano background, LEX began incorporating live piano into her DJ sets, debuting the concept at Sol Blume Festival in 2023 — blending live musicianship with DJ culture and expanding the boundaries of her performances
Now based in Southern California, LEX continues to evolve her sound and creative identity, building a world that celebrates R&B and hip-hop culture through DJing, performance, and digital storytelling. With global touring, viral mixes, and a rapidly expanding audience, LEX represents a new generation of DJs shaping the future of the genre — proving that passion, creativity, and authenticity can turn a bedroom dream into a worldwide movement.
