King Crimson alumni DAVID CROSS and his LARKS' TONGUES BAND will perform at Club Soda Sunday, October 27, celebrating the King Crimson Trilogy albums from the band’s 1972-1974 period, when Robert Fripp’s led band released three seminal legendary albums: LARKS’ TONGUES IN ASPIC, STARLESS AND THE BIBLE BACK and RED. The band will perform entirely the Lark’s Tongue In Aspic album and most of the music from other two albums, plus some improvs, very characteristic for the live King Crimson band from those days when Robert Fripp was accompanied by Bill Bruford, John Eaton and Jamie Muir.
To kick off the evening, the band Miriodor, originally from Quebec and active for over 40 years, will present their most recent album Éléments, The troupe bringing together Pascal Globensky (keyboards), Bernard Falaise (guitar), Rémi Leclerc (drums), and Nicolas Lessard (bass) will present its unique blend of progressive music, rock, contemporary jazz and electronic folklore.
