Tribute to Nirvana

The origins of Projekt Revolution date back to the summer of 2015, when Patrice (drummer for See Through Secrecy) and Liam (keyboardist and guitarist for The Alibi), longtime friends and fans of the band Linkin Park, started jamming together around songs from the band's first two albums (Hybrid Theory and Meteora). Quickly, they started looking for other musicians among their contacts. Chris Kelly (member of April Twenty Nine and Pin-Up), Patrick Bureau (drummer for Fall Of Knowledge and Young Critters) and Grégoire Deniger (guitarist) have joined the band. A little later, responding to the group's announcement to find a DJ, Nicolas Miquel (DJ Brave) came to complete the line-up.
The group then decided to adopt the name of Projekt Revolution, in homage to the tours of Linkin Park during the mid-2000s. Initially concentrated on the first two albums, the setlists proposed by Projekt Revolution were expanded to include songs of all Linkin Park albums.
After 2 years and several shows between Montreal and Quebec, the group saw the departure of Chris Kelly in September 2017 due to relocation. It was then that the members of Projekt Revolution met Alec Monbleau-Lefebvre (guitarist and singer for Helpless), unconditional fan of Linkin Park.
While singer Chester Bennington's passing was still recent, a new chapter had just begun for the tribute band, who were clearly feeling the
responsibility to continue to bring the music of Linkin Park to life on stage throughout Quebec. Awaken the nostalgia of early fans, offer a journey through the different musical styles in which Californians have evolved over nearly two decades, introduce young people to this group that has marked an entire generation: this is the mission that gives Projekt Revolution.
This group of passionate, eclectic musicians, and fans above all, is now ready to impress you, as only the members of Linkin Park could do!
