Sheenah Ko

Sheenah Ko is a Chinese-Irish multi instrumentalist born and raised in Toronto who now resides in the Saguenay region of Québec. Best known as a member of the Besnard Lakes, she is an energetic keyboardist performing internationally with a wide array of bands. In 2020, Ko introduced her solo productions with her debut album Nowhere In Time. Her music video, Wrap Me Up, won a 2020 UK Music Video Award and a 2021 Juno nomination in addition to charting in the top 10 national college radio charts. Future Is Now is its 2022 follow-up, accompanied by an energetic and engaging show of vapor-pop, sometimes psychedelic, passing through portions closer to ecstatic dance, imbued with a jazz spirit that leaves room for the improvisations of Ko and her musicians.
