The Effigy is your pass for hundred of activities during the Quebec Winter Carnival. By purchasing the Effigy, you will receive the physical Effigy in Bonhomme Carnaval’s image. It also gives you access to a winter discount booklet including many coupons valid at several merchants in Quebec City, in addition to giving you discounts and privileges applicable in businesses and establishments in the Quebec City area, upon presentation of your Effigy, during the winter period.

The 2024 Effigy is made in Quebec, from recycled sugar shacks tubing. It’s also recyclable.

IMPORTANT:

The Effigy is mandatory to access the official sites of the Quebec Winter Carnival from January 25 to February 11, 2024 for all Carnival-goers 13 years of age and over. The Effigy is required to access activities in the Loto-Québec Zone, including the Ice Palace and night shows, Bonhomme’s Campground by Vidéotron, Scotiabank Sculpture Garden, Gougoune et doudoune by Mr. Christie, Slide City, Ice Cross by Kraft Heinz, Laser Game Evolution at the Citadelle of Québec, and many Partner Events.
