The Bureau de la vie étudiante invites you to come and try cross-country skiing at the Sainte-Foy Outdoor Recreation Center. This park offers three cross-country ski trails in the middle of a forest. The trails are relatively short (1 km, 2 km, and 3.5 km) and have very little elevation change, making them ideal for beginners. Please note that all the equipment is provided.
If you are a beginner, our team will be on hand to help you take your first steps.
The site also has a heated building where you can take breaks.

When: Sunday Febuary 22 2026. We will leave Université Laval at 9:30 a.m. (between Ernest-Lemieux and Alphonse-Desjardins buildings). Departure from the site at 12:45 p.m. and we will be back on campus around 1 p.m.
Cost: $24, including transportation, equipment, service of guides and park entry.
Meal: You must bring your own lunch or snacks. No food is sold on the site.
Attire: The whole morning is spent outside, so you should dress accordingly. As winter can be pretty cold, warm clothing (mittens, warm hat and scarf, wool socks, coat, winter boots) are required. If possible, dress with breathable clothing made for winter sport.
Registration: Register online (credit card only) before Monday Febuary 16 at 11:45 p.m. Limited quantity: first come, first served!
Non-refundable tickets: If you cannot come, you may transfer your ticket to someone else.

Bad weather: In the event that the site is closed due to very bad weather conditions, you will be notified of the cancellation or postponement of the activity by email and will be reimbursed if applicable.
