The Bureau de la vie étudiante invites you to an outdoor day in the Parc national de la Jacques-Cartier. This national park, located 40 km north to Québec City, has over 100 km of trails along the Jacques-Cartier River and in the surrounding mountains. This is a unique occasion to enjoy a day in the great Canadian outdoor and to admire the magnificent landscape from the top of the Laurentian Mountains. 

During the day, you will have access to the following trails: La Tourbière, L'Éperon, L'Aperçu, Les Cascades, Le Draveur Sud, Les Coulées, and L'Escarpement.

When: Saturday October 5, 2024. Departure at 9:00 a.m. between the Ernest-Lemieux and Alphonse-Desjardins pavilions. Departure from the site at 3:15 p.m. and return to University Laval around 4 p.m.

Cost: $22, including round-trip bus transportation and access to the park. Ticket only valid on departure from Université Laval.

Meal: On-site food services are limited. It is recommended to bring your own cold lunch and snacks if needed. 

You can also picnic in two designated areas along the river.

Clothing: This activity takes place entirely outdoors. Bring appropriate clothing for all temperatures, good walking shoes as well as sunscreen and mosquito repellent.

Registration: Buy your tickets online (credit card only) before September 30 at 11:45 p.m. Limited places: first come, first served!

Non refundable ticket: If you cannot come, you may transfer your ticket to another person.

Bad weather: In the event that the site is closed due to very bad weather conditions, you will be notified of the cancellation or postponement of the activity by email and will be reimbursed if applicable.
