Canoe trip on the Saint-Charles River

There's no better way to enjoy summer than canoeing along the Saint-Charles River as it flows through the city from north to south. During this excursion, the Student Life Office invites you to discover the wildest part of the river. In teams of 2 to 5 people, participants will be able to row at their own pace on the calm waters of the Saint-Charles River to discover its beauty.
**Please note that to participate in this activity, you must be comfortable in the water.**
Note that swimming is not allowed in the river.
Website: Canots Légaré
When: Sunday June 9, 2024. Departure at 9:30 am between the Ernest-Lemieux and Alphonse-Desjardins pavilions. Departure from the site around 1:30 pm and return to campus around 2 pm.
Cost: $23, including round-trip bus transportation, entrance and all equipment.
Meals: There are no food sales on site, it is recommended to bring your own snacks or meals and bottle of water.
Equipment: All the required equipment is included. As a preventative measure, you can prepare a bag of spare clothes, shoes and a towel that you can leave at the starting point.
Clothing: This activity takes place outside and will take place regardless of the weather forecast (except in the event of a storm). It is recommended to wear clothing suitable for all types of temperature in addition to bringing a hat, mosquito repellent, sunscreen and sunglasses.
Registration: Buy your tickets online (credit card only) before June 3 at 11:45 pm. Limited places: first come, first served!
Non-refundable ticket: If you are unable to attend, you can transfer your ticket to another person.
Weather: Weather Channel
Bad weather: In the event the site closes due to very bad weather conditions, you will be notified of the cancellation or postponement of the activity by email and will be refunded if applicable.
