Trekking in the Parc national de la Jacques-Cartier

The Bureau de la vie étudiante invites you to an outdoor day in the Parc national de la Jacques-Cartier. This national park, located 40 km north of Québec City, has over 100 km of trails along the Jacques-Cartier River and in the surrounding mountains. This is a unique occasion to enjoy a day in the great Canadian outdoor and to admire the colors of autumn, which are extraordinary from the heights of the Laurentians.
The activity consists of free trekking in the park. During the day, free shuttles will give you access to the following trails: Le Draveur Sud, Les Loups, La Tourbière, L’Aperçu, Les Cascades, Le Perdreau, L’Éperon, Les Coulées and Le Confluent.

When: Friday October 1st, 2021.
Time: Departure at 10:00 a.m. and we will be back around 5:45 p.m.
Meeting point: Vie étudiante street, between Ernest-Lemieux and Alphonse-Desjardins buildings.
Cost: 11 $, including transportation by bus and park entry. Tickets sold online only.
Meal: There is no restaurant on the site, only a convenience store. We advise you to bring your own lunch.
Attire: The activity is held outside, you should bring clothing for all kind of weather, as well as good sport shoes.
Non refundable ticket. If you cannot come, you may transfer your ticket to someone else.
In case of very bad weather, you will be advised by email if the activity is cancelled or postponed and, if so, refunded.
Wearing a mask: Wearing a mask is required at all times when transporting the bus and during the activity when the distance of 1 meter cannot be respected.
COVID-19 vaccination passport: Not required for this outdoor activity.
