The Cap Tourmente National Wildlife Area is known for the spectacular sight of huge flocks of migrating geese in the spring and in the fall. It is also an exceptional place for the diversity of natural environments and species. It encompasses 24 km2 of marshes, wetlands, plains and forests. Every day in October, 15 000 to 30 000 geese make a stop in this area. Come and watch them!

The activity we offer consists of free time to walk on the trails on the banks of the
St. Lawrence River that allow you to admire the flocks of geese that come and go all day. Throughout the day, guides from Parks Canada will be available to give you information about the geese, their migration and the Cap Tourmente National Wildlife Area. You will also have access to more than 25 km of trails along the cliff of the Cap Tourmente.

For more information about the park: Cap Tourmente
