The Bureau de la vie étudiante invites you to an outdoor day in the Parc national de la Jacques-Cartier. This national park, located 40 km north of Québec City, has over 100 km of trails along the Jacques-Cartier River and in the surrounding mountains. This is a unique occasion to enjoy a day in the great Canadian outdoor and to admire the colors of autumn, which are extraordinary from the heights of the Laurentians.
The activity consists of free trekking in the park. During the day, free shuttles will give you access to the following trails: Le Draveur Sud, Les Loups, La Tourbière, L’Aperçu, Les Cascades, Le Perdreau, L’Éperon et Les Coulées.
It is also possible to enjoy the other activities of the park (Canoe, Kayak, etc.). For these optional activities, you must register and pay directly to the park. Please note that the number of boats is limited.

When: Friday September 28th 2018. Departure at 8:45 a.m. between Ernest-Lemieux and Alphonse-Desjardins buildings. Return at the same place around 5:30 p.m.
Cost: 10 $, including transportation by bus and park entry.
Meal: There is no restaurant on the site, only a convenience store. We advise you to bring your own lunch.
Attire: The activity is held outside, you should bring clothing for all kind of weather, as well as good sport shoes.
Weather: In case of very bad weather, you will be advised by email if the activity is cancelled or postponed.
