L'R.C. Jazz Ensemble

12 musicians on the stage! R.C. Jazz Ensemble, bringing together experienced musicians under Raoul Cyr’s leadership, invites you to a concert with a very special flavour! It will be dedicated entirely to Christmas themes performed by a big band grouping. The Christmas music repertoire is often associated with classically inspired sacred music, or pop-style secular music. However, many composers and arrangers have put together a multitude of festive pieces borrowing from all the traditional jazz codes. Take a plunge into the festive spirit to the sounds of saxophones, trumpets, trombones, piano, bass and drums! We bet that you won’t be able to watch this concert without tapping your feet or snapping your fingers!
