The Bennewitz Quartet is well established as a leading international string quartet, performing throughout the world in distinguished venues such as Wigmore Hall in London, the Frick Museum in New York, and the Musikverein in Vienna.

Having played together for over 20 years, the ensemble made their competition debut by winning two prestigious contests: the Osaka Chamber Music and Festa 2005, and the Prémio Paolo Borciani in Italy in 2008. They quickly gained critical acclaim and have received numerous honors, including the Classic Prague Award for Best Chamber Music Performance of the year.

Following their memorable performance at CAMMAC in 2022, the Bennewitz Quartet returns this summer with a program featuring Haydn's String Quartet in F major and Dvořák's String Quartet in A-flat major.
