This year, the dancers are proud to be remounting several works from their earlier productions and bringing brand new works to the show.


Sharing the stage with the local youth-directed group are alumni spanning multiple generations of earthdancers—representing thirty-two years of artists deeply connected to their environment, their community, and their art.

earthdancers

earthdancers is a Sudbury-based, youth-directed, contemporary and modern dance organization. Their mission is to promote environmental awareness within their community through annual benefit performances, in which all ticket sales are donated to environmental causes. They strive to rejuvenate and sustain the planet for their ‘tomorrow,’ setting this precedent through dance. Since 1989, they have succeeded in donating over $221 000 to their beneficiaries.
